We've already heard of a couple of things to look for on the DVD/Blu-Ray of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, but surely there are a few other pieces right under our noses . . .
For starters, let's talk about what we've been told of already.
Just a few days ago, filmmakers Wyck Godfrey andMelissa Rosenberg hinted at an extended honeymoon scene, "a really cool scene with the Volturi," and "a whole section before the wedding, with Charlie and Renee and Carlisle and Edward and kind of back and forth." So, we know those'll be considered for the DVD extras. The "Volturi" scene Godfrey refers to in that quote might be the one we saw in the first trailer for Breaking Dawn - Part 1 - one which wasn't ultimately included in the theatrical cut of the movie. Perhaps part of the extended honeymoon scene would include the breakfast stuff shown in stills here and here.
Another fragment of the first trailer which never quite made it to screen was the "Edward" and "Jacob" tussle near the end, which many originally assumed must've happened after the imprint. It should be interesting to see whether this makes the extras . . .
Kristen Stewart, meanwhile, revealed to Entertainment Weekly that only a sliver of her character's discussion with the "Denali Coven" at the wedding made it into the film. So, this might become one of the extended scenes on DVD.
One other moment which we have been told was shot but which did not make the film was the "Rosalie" and "Jacob" dog bowl incident.
About a year and a half ago, I made a list of the twentyBreaking Dawn details I wanted to see in the film adaptation(s), and almost all of the ones appertaining to the events of Part 1 were included except the Guardian scene and this dog bowl scene. Reportedly, Nikki Reed told fans at a Twilight convention panel that this moment was filmed, so it's entirely possible this'll be one reserved for the deleted scenes. I certainly hope it will be. "Jacob" did slip in a "Blondie" remark in Part 1, but their rivalry was so much more intense than that in the story . . .
We shall see.
Any other predictions on what'll be included in the Breaking Dawn - Part 1 DVD extras?
