New 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' cast and filmmaker interviews Article

ScreenSlam has posted a host of new The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 cast and filmmaker interviews, so to keep it tidy, all of them have been gathered here.
Some snippets of these aren't entirely new, but some parts definitely are.
Stephenie Meyer's, for instance, contains some great new pieces of insight from her on the storyline translation ofBreaking Dawn. Here are some of the major points addressed in that one.
  • The Wedding Dress:
"I really wanted the dress to be something really special, not something you’re going to see everyday, not a dress you go and pick up at a store somewhere, and I love what they did with it. They just came up with a really stunning concept. It’s similar to what I envisioned, but they sort of add their own elements. It turns out beautiful."
  • The Cullens, A House Divided:
"The Cullens are divided. We have some people who fiercely protect Bella’s choice of wanting to have this baby, mostly Rosalie, and then we have on the other side people who only care about Bella’s life. Edward and then also Alice, who can’t see what’s happening, and she would trade anything not to lose the person who’s really become her sister. So it’s an interesting dynamic because they’re sort of opposed to each other."
  • Edward and Renesmee:
"For Edward, Renesmee’s not a real person, she’s just a danger to the thing that’s most important in her life until he actually hears her. And what changes everything for him is the fact that the first thing he hears is just how much she adores Bella. She’s already very aware, her mental capacity is so far beyond what human newborns would be . . . and she knows, she’s aware of Bella. She loves her, she’s aware of Bella. She understands her, and that this child loves her so much, and he can’t be immune to that. So then all of a sudden it’s not just about saving Bella’s life, it’s about saving this very real person who’s not the way he’s envisioned it . . . Now, it’s part of her and it’s something beautiful and innocent and full of love and that changed everything for him."
The interviews are available here in the following order:Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, Melissa Rosenberg, Wyck Godfrey, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone, and Julia Jones.
