MESA, Arizona (AP) — One of the actors who plays a werewolf in the "Twilight" movie series has been released from jail after he was picked up by Tempe, Ariz., police on warrants for failing to appear on a misdemeanor drunken driving and drug charge.
The Arizona Republic reports 21-year-old Kiowa Gordon posted $1,000 bail to get out of a Maricopa County jail Wednesday morning. He was arrested Monday for failing to appear in other Phoenix area courts for previous drug and alcohol arrests.
Tempe police say Gordon was arrested after a routine license plate check turned up the outstanding warrants.
Gordon plays the character Embry in the "Twilight" series, one of the members of a Native American werewolf pack.
